Characteristics of heat pump dryers

1.They can achieve low temperature air closed circulation drying, and the material drying quality is high.

The temperature of the hot and dry air in the drying chamber is between 18 and 80°C due to the operating circumstances of the control device, which can fulfill the high quality drying requirements of most thermal materials. The drying medium's closed cycle can also prevent impurity contamination produced by gas exchange with the outside world, which is especially critical for food, medicine, or biological goods. Furthermore, when the material is sensitive to oxygen in the air (prone to oxidation, combustion, and explosion), the inert medium can be utilized as a drying medium instead of air to produce anaerobic drying.

2.High efficiency, and energy savings.

4.Components of recyclable materials that are useful and volatile.

Some materials contain volatile components (such as fragrance and other volatile components), and using a heat pump to dry, volatile components and moisture gasification into the air, containing volatile air after the evaporator is cooled, the volatile components is also liquefied, collect condensate containing volatile components, and appropriate volatile separation methods will be useful.


The drying medium in the heat pump drying device is closed, and the dry exhaust gas contains no material dust, volatile compounds, or odor. There is no unit heat pollution to the environment since the waste heat in the drying chamber exhaust is directly recovered by the heat pump and used to heat the cold dry air.

6.The heat pump drier may be used with a variety of materials.

The materials suitable for drying are mainly a large class of materials with a tolerance temperature between 18 and 80 °C in the drying process, or although the materials can withstand a high temperature, use a heat pump to dry more energy-saving or safe materials. More materials have been studied and applied, such as the air will blow from top to bottom, then whole products can be dried evenly and won’t crack. It perfectly suitable for the sausage drying, rice noodle drying, stick noodle drying, spaghetti drying, vermicelli drying, tobacco leaves drying, fish drying, meat dehydrating etc.
